Mystery Daylily

Well this was supposed to be Destined to See, but the supplier screwed up. The first bud opened up to a nice yellow with a dark purple/mauve eye and green throat. Seen below.

The next bloom, however, polypetaled, AND has a YELLOW throat??

Any ideas?

Felder bloomed the other day, as did Two To Tango, but I didn't get the camera out fast enough for TTT.

New Daylilies! :)

Just bought Merry Reed and Purple d'oro yesterday. Very nice colors that I could find pics of online.

Forgot to post that I had gotten Destined To See, and an order from ebay consisting of:

Look Here Mary
Two To Tango
Avis Jean
Felder
Hot Scheme
Shady Lady
Starman's Quest

First bloom!

Yeah, sure it was greenhouse grown and still in the pot in the house, but I wanted a bloom! lol. This is Sabine Bauer, very pretty. I probably paid too much for it for a single fan, but that's okay, I like it, and I've gotten good deals on others to make up for it :) Most of the daylilies from Ebay are going to be a while, they took quite a beating from UPS it looks like. A couple are being VERY slow growers.
Yesterday I bought a couple hosta and my pink lilies of the valley that I've been looking everywhere for. Will hopefully get some nice garden places set and take more photos soon :)

The first have arrived!

The first of my daylilies I've ordered have arrived! Sure, I've still got some at my moms' house, but the first ones HERE have arrived :) Sabine Bauer, Spacecoast Gator Eye and Spacecoast Scrambled came yesterday! The other person I ordered daylilies from said they won't ship until our temps are a wee bit higher, and that's alright, because I'm pretty sure the ground is still frozen! Mom is keeping Over The Top for herself, but that's okay, I'll get splits next year. Ahh the joys of sandy loom soil. Not sure what type of soil is here yet, but can't wait to find out! Also received my daylily cookbook last week, very excited to try some recipes! I have plenty of blooms and buds to work with from my mom's garden as well. I need to get the full list from her, so I know what I have to work with!
